Why should I use George O'Day's for my garment storage
and dispensing equipment needs?
Across the nation, O'Day's provides the best options. We
deliver reconditioned, converted, used and new lockers,
as well as towel cabinets and made-to-order storage and
dispensing products. We provide a 100%
satisfaction guarantee on every product
we sell and service we perform.
How do I determine the best option?
An O'Day's representative will work with you as part of "The Difference O'Day's Makes," our total customer support program, to make sure you receive the best value solution to your needs. We take a no-nonsense look at your inventory, needs and budget and recommend what makes the most sense, considering both reconditioned and new products.
Why should I use O'Day's for locker
reconditioning, rather than a manufacturer with a reconditioning
program?
O'Day's is the industry's premiere reconditioner, with stock available
immediately. As a reconditioner first and foremost, we want to recondition
every unit possible from your inventory, saving you money. Our ultimate goal is to keep you as a reconditioning customer, the sale of new lockers is on as needed basis when you must have new product. We also use our own trucks on regularly scheduled routes in the Eastern U.S. for pick-ups and
deliveries whenever possible, without minimums.
Do I get the same type of locker or cabinet back when you
recondition it from my inventory?
For lockers, you will get the same locker type back when
you place an order. You also have your choice of compartment
closure styles – keyed lock, turn knob or knob lock
– all at the same price! Built-in combination locks
are also available at an additional charge per opening.
CRT cabinets work the same way; except for metal units,
which we interchange according to your preference.
Why do you have different prices for the same locker?
If you have a used locker to trade in, you get the lowest price. We charge you only for our service to recondition your locker. If we convert a locker type you have in inventory with us to another locker type, additional parts and labor are required, necessitating a higher price. If you purchase a locker without having a trade-in, the purchase price applies.
Is there any locker you cannot recondition? Are some too bad to be reconditioned?
We evaluate each unit upon arrival on a pass/fail basis.
If the master door and frame are unusable, or if a unit
has excessive rust or damage requiring extensive parts replacement,
we consider it to be "scrap" and remove it from your available
inventory. If two scrap units can be combined to make one
good unit, we will scrap only one unit.
Do I have any choice in locker colors?
We have 4 stock colors – grey, black, putty (beige)
and blue. All are available at no extra charge. If you need
a custom color, no problem, we will quote you a price based
upon the type of paint and quantity of lockers desired.
Do you charge for picking up old lockers? CRT cabinets?
We do not charge for picking up on a regularly scheduled
trip if you are located within our service area. If we can't
make a pick up via our truck, we will use a common carrier
and pay the freight in on quantities of 10 or more. The
same policy applies to CRT cabinets, except we do not pay
the freight in if a common carrier is used.
What about storage? Do you charge for storing my old lockers?
We have never charged for storage, and we don't intend to begin.
Do you buy used cabinets and lockers?
We sure do. Call us for a quote on the current value of what you have to sell. Keep in mind that freight in to us is an important consideration if you are outside of our service area and have to ship product to us.
Do you have a warranty?
We do not have a formal warranty program; however, our goal is to please you, our customer. You have our assurance that should you have a problem, we will do whatever is necessary to ensure your continued satisfaction with our products.
